         If a picture is worth a thousand words, then self-taught artist Kevin A. Williams (also known as WAK), has created enough elements of love, family, and community to write a book. "We are powerful people, and there are certain messages I try to portray," says WAK. " I observe the world I live in and love; and create art that captures and preserves the emotions of rich culture of American-Americans." Born in Chicago, WAK became fascinate with painting at an early age. With a passion, he spent many years and long hours in the studio polishing his talent. Now residing in Atlanta, his creations are among the most contemporary African-American art of our time.
